NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Void outside the Eligibility Area and where prohibited by law. Subject to all applicable laws and ordinances. Sweepstakes begins on 16th September, 2024 at 00:01 GMT and ends on 28th October, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. GMT (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Administrator's computer is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes.

1. Eligibility: The Marriott Bonvoy^® Experience Legendary in Abu Dhabi Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and UAE (“Eligibility Area”) who are Marriott Bonvoy Members and the age of majority in their respective jurisdictions of permanent residence and reside in a jurisdiction which legally permits participation in the Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Program at time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Marriott International, Inc. ("Sponsor"), Don Jagoda Associates ("Administrator"), Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team and any of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees, mandataries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment, and marketing agencies, web site providers, web masters, and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings and children, regardless of where they live) and those living in the same household (whether or not related) are not eligible to enter or win. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to Sponsor's and/or Administrator's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of winner. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the English version of the Official Rules shall prevail, govern, and control.

2. Sponsor/Administrator: The Sponsor is Marriott International, Inc., 7750 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814 USA. The Administrator is Don Jagoda Associates, 100 Marcus Drive, Melville, NY 11747 USA.

3. How to Enter: There is NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to participate. A purchase does not increase your chances of winning. To receive one (1) entry (“Entry”) into the random drawing, visit www.joinmarriottbonvoy.com/abudhabirace during the Sweepstakes Period and follow the on-screen directions to either a) complete the registration form with your Marriott Bonvoy Member number, or b) if you are not a Marriott Bonvoy Member, you may sign-up for a Marriott Bonvoy Member account. There is no cost or fee to become a Marriott Bonvoy Member. Entries must be received by 11:59 pm GMT on 28th October, 2024. Incomplete and/or inaccurate Entries are void. No information regarding Entries, other than as otherwise set forth in these Official Rules, will be disclosed. Limited to one (1) Entry per email address/Marriott Bonvoy Membership account; a person may only use one email address/Marriott Bonvoy Membership account to enter. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries by using multiple/different email addresses, Marriott Bonvoy Membership numbers, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void such Entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated or computer system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service may apply. If entering via mobile device, normal phone/data and usage charges imposed by your phone service may apply. Standard data rates may apply if entering via mobile device.

Incomplete, corrupted, or untimely entries are void and will be disqualified. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, or misdirected entries; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections; or miscommunications, computer or software malfunctions, telephone transmission problems, technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user's computer equipment (software or hardware), or other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic, or otherwise. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Marriott Bonvoy account used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, Internet service provider, or other organization (which may include an employer) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Entries specifying an invalid, non-working, or inactive email address will be disqualified and ineligible to win. Entrant’s social media profiles must be in keeping with Sponsor’s image and reputation or entrant may be disqualified.

For residents of France: Telecommunication and access expenses corresponding to the time of connection for participation in the Sweepstakes have been evaluated at the flat fee of 0.50 Euros per Entry, and shall be reimbursed to any on-line entrant requesting it via email to MarriottBonvoySweepstakes@djagoda.com. If you claim reimbursement for these expenses, you must provide a telephone bill demonstrating that you do not benefit from unlimited access. An incomplete request for reimbursement or one sent to the incorrect address will be invalid. You must submit reimbursement requests within two months (60 calendar days) of the Sweepstakes end date. Reimbursement of connection costs is limited to one participation by an individual (same first name and last name, same postal code, same age). Postal fees incurred in sending supporting documentation will be reimbursed upon request, provided they are requested in writing as set forth above, and are within the limit of the lowest postal fee applicable to a letter of 20 grams or less.

4. Selection of Winner: On 1st November, 2024, one (1) Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible Entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. Drawing will be conducted by the Administrator (at their offices in Melville, NY USA), an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes. The odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of Entries received through the end of the Sweepstakes Period.

5. Winner Notification: Potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by email and must respond to the notification and provide back any completed documents (release of liability, publicity release, etc.) within forty-eight (48) hours of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected and notified, time permitting. If potential winner fails to return the required document(s) within the required time period, or the prize notification is returned undeliverable, or in the event that the potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the prize to an alternate winner selected by a random drawing from among all remaining eligible Entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period, time permitting. Prize will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible Entries are received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. A maximum of two (2) alternate winners will be selected for the prize offered, time permitting, after which time the prize will remain unawarded.

Potential winner is subject to verification by Sponsor and/or Administrator, whose decisions are final and BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES. An entrant is not a winner of the prize unless and until entrant's eligibility has been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete.

6. Prize and Approximate Retail Value in EUR (“ARV”): One (1) Grand Prize – a Sponsor-specified Experience and trip to Abu Dhabi, UAE for winner and one (1) travel companion. Prize includes round-trip economy air transportation from major airport nearest winner’s home to Abu Dhabi, UAE, 3 nights’ hotel accommodations (based on double occupancy) (Friday, 6th December – Monday, 9th December, 2024), celebration event with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 team personnel on Saturday, 7th December, which may include the opportunity to meet Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Driver (“Experiences”), two (2) passes to the Ritz-Carlton Silver Arrows Lounge for Qualifying Day in Abu Dhabi on Saturday 7th December and Race Day, Sunday 8th December (“Events”), ground transportation from hotel to the Events/Experiences and ground transportation between Abu Dhabi airport and hotel. ARV: EUR €9,418. Winner must be a Marriott Bonvoy Member at time of Entry and prize award.

7. Prize Restrictions: Certain restrictions apply. Trip may not be combined with any other offer and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles. Winner and travel companion must travel together on the same itinerary. Seat selection and timing of trip subject to confirmation of reservations. Major credit card required at check-in to cover any incidental charges. Travel companion must be a legal resident of the Eligibility Area (corresponding to winner’s country/region of residence), and must hold a UAE visa, or another visa or passport that allows visa-free entry into the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with at least 6 months validity remaining. Winner’s travel companion (who must be the age of majority) will be required to execute a release of liability (or other required documents) prior to travel. If winner elects to travel or participate in the prize travel with no travel companion, no additional compensation will be awarded for the travel companion portion of prize. Grand Prize winner and travel companion must possess valid travel documents [i.e., a valid government-issued passport with more than six (6) months before it expires, entry visa, if required, etc.] and travel on the same itinerary. Grand Prize winner and travel companion are responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option and hereby acknowledge that Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Sweepstakes, and those set forth by Sponsor’s airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. Winner and travel companion must follow any applicable COVID protocols at time of travel. Lost, stolen or damaged airline tickets will not be replaced or exchanged. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by any air carrier(s) or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. The passenger contracts in use by the airlines or other transportation companies shall constitute the sole contracts with respect to the Grand Prize winner's and his/her travel companion's transportation and such contracts shall be solely between the Grand Prize winner, his/her travel companion and such transportation companies. Venue and seat locations at Event/Experiences shall be determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Grand Prize winner and travel companion are solely responsible for all expenses not specifically set forth herein, including but not limited to meals, surcharges, service charges, personal charges, taxes, gratuities, souvenirs, other incidentals and items of a personal nature. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, mutilated or stolen Event/Experience documents/vouchers. If Grand Prize winner is unable to attend the Event/Experience on date(s) specified, prize will be forfeited and an alternate Grand Prize winner may be selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible Entries received, time permitting. In the event the Grand Prize winner and/or travel companion engages in behavior that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is obnoxious or threatening, illegal, or that is intended to threaten or harass any other person, or that in any way disparages or adversely affects the reputation, image, and/or customer goodwill of Sponsor or any of Sponsor’s services, products, trademarks, service marks, or logos, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the prize, and send winner and/or travel companion home (at winner/travel companion’s own expense) with no further obligations or compensation whatsoever to winner and/or travel companion (which may, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, result in winner’s disqualification from the Sweepstakes and forfeiture of prize). In the event Grand Prize winner or travel companion engages in behavior that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is illegal, tortious, or subject winner or travel companion to arrest or detention, Sponsor shall have no obligation to pay any damages, fees, fines, judgments or other costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever incurred by winner or travel companion as a result of such conduct. SPONSOR SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER DAMAGES OR EXPENSES RESULTING FROM OR ARISING OUT OF ANY OTHER ASPECT OF GRAND PRIZE WINNER’S OR TRAVEL COMPANION’S ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF PRIZE. The offering for sale, selling, reselling, or otherwise transferring of the prize or any portion thereof (e.g. event tickets, airline tickets, gifts, etc.) to any third party is strictly prohibited. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify winner and void the prize if it appears to have been offered for sale, sold, or otherwise transferred. Passes may be subject to pass issuer’s standard rain-check and cancellation policies and procedures. All expenses, travel, accommodations, and other costs not expressly stated in the package description above are the sole responsibility of winner. Experiences are Sponsor-specified and subject to change or cancellation. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. Lost, mutilated, or stolen passes, tickets, vouchers, or certificates will not be replaced by Sponsor or Administrator. By accepting the prize, winner agrees to abide by any terms, conditions and restrictions provided by the pass/ticket/certificate issuer. Sponsor is not responsible if winner does not make use of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible if any Event or any Experiences are delayed, postponed, or cancelled for any reason due to circumstances beyond Sponsor’s control. In the event of a cancellation, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute that portion or complete prize for one of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. Winner cannot substitute, assign, transfer, or redeem prize for cash; however, Sponsor reserves the right to make equivalent prize substitutions at its sole discretion if any advertised prize (or portion of prize) becomes unavailable. Winner is responsible for any loss of prize or portion of prize after it has been delivered. Any and all applicable taxes, dues and all fees and expenses related to acceptance and use of prize not specifically stated herein are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize winner.

FOR RESIDENTS OF UK, SWITZERLAND AND EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA: THIS RELEASE DOES NOT APPLY TO CLAIMS AGAINST SPONSOR, ITS REPRESENTATIVES AND ITS VICARIOUS AGENTS FOR DAMAGES BECAUSE OF PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH, AND TO CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES IN CASE OF INTENT OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE BY SPONSOR, ITS REPRESENTATIVES OR VICARIOUS AGENTS.

By participating in this Sweepstakes, you acknowledge: (1) In regard to the Prize or any other products or services offered by Sponsor and/or its affiliates free of charge, Sponsor shall only be liable for intent and gross negligence. (2) In all other cases, Sponsor shall only be liable in cases of intent and gross negligence. In case of slight negligence, however, Sponsor is only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations, such as delay or impossibility of performance, for which Sponsor can be held responsible. The liability in the event of breach of such an essential contractual obligation is limited to the typical contractual damage, whose occurrence could be expected by Sponsor upon conclusion of the contract based on the circumstances known at that time. “Essential contractual obligations” are those obligations whose fulfillment is essential to enable the proper implementation of the contract, and the achievement of its purpose and whose observation you as an end consumer may rely upon. The foregoing limitations of liability shall not apply in the case of explicit guarantees by Sponsor, in case of malice and injuries to life, body or health, as well as in the case of mandatory statutory regulations. Nothing in these Official Rules shall deprive you of the consumer protection rights granted to you by the laws of your residence that cannot be derogated from by agreement to such.

8. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, the prize will be awarded in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation. Sponsor, Administrator, and their agencies are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen or misdirected Entries; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, garbled transmissions or miscommunications, telephone transmission problems; computer or software malfunctions or damage to a user's computer equipment (software or hardware); technical failures; or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or otherwise. Proof of sending or submission of Entry will not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsor or Administrator. Sponsor's or Administrator's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be attempting to tamper with or undermine the Entry process, and/or the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes; to violate the Official Rules; or to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, void any suspect Entries and (a) modify the Sweepstakes or suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize at random from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation up to the time of the impairment.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that in the event of inconsistency between your local language version (if applicable) and the English version of these Official Rules, the English version shall prevail, and your local language version shall be deemed to be amended accordingly to the extent necessary for such inconsistency to be in conformity with the English version of these Official Rules.

9. Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree that Sponsor, Administrator, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, website providers, web masters, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (the "Released Parties") are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of Entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of the prize. THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IF ANY PRIZE CANNOT BE AWARDED DUE TO CANCELLATIONS, DELAYS, OR INTERRUPTIONS DUE TO ACTS OF GOD, ACTS OF WAR, NATURAL DISASTERS, WEATHER, OR TERRORISM.

10. Publicity. EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, WINNER GRANTS TO SPONSOR, ADMINISTRATOR, MERCEDES-AMG PETRONAS F1, (WHICH GRANT WILL BE CONFIRMED IN WRITING ON REQUEST OF SPONSOR AND/OR ADMINISTRATOR), AND THOSE ACTING PURSUANT TO THEIR AUTHORITY, THE RIGHT AND PERMISSION (BUT NOT THE OBLIGATION) TO PRINT, PUBLISH, BROADCAST, AND USE, WORLDWIDE IN ANY MEDIA NOW KNOWN OR HEREAFTER DEVELOPED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WORLD WIDE WEB, AT ANY TIME OR TIMES, WINNER'S NAME, PORTRAIT, PICTURE, VOICE, LIKENESS, ENTRY, AND BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION FOR ADVERTISING, TRADE, AND PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES (INCLUDING THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF HIS OR HER NAME ON TELEVISION OR RADIO BROADCAST) WITHOUT ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION, COMPENSATION, PERMISSION, OR NOTIFICATION. ENTRANTS AGREE THAT SPONSOR SHALL OWN THE ENTRIES, WHICH WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED OR RETURNED, AND THAT SPONSOR AND ITS DESIGNEES SHALL HAVE THE PERPETUAL, WORLDWIDE RIGHT TO EDIT, PUBLISH, AND USE THE ENTRIES IN ANY WAY AND IN ANY MEDIA FOR TRADE, ADVERTISING, PROMOTIONAL, AND/OR OTHER PURPOSES AS SPONSOR AND/OR ITS DESIGNEES MAY DETERMINE WITHOUT FURTHER CONSIDERATION TO ENTRANTS OR ANY THIRD PARTY.

11. Disputes: Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes, including the formation, interpretation, breach, or termination thereof, including whether the claims asserted are arbitrable, will be referred to and finally and exclusively determined by binding arbitration in accordance with the JAMS International Arbitration Rules. The tribunal will consist of one arbitrator. The seat of the arbitration will be Bethesda, Maryland USA though the parties may agree to online/virtual proceedings. The language to be used in the arbitral proceedings will be English. Judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered by any court having jurisdiction thereof.

12. Privacy: The jurisdiction, state, or province in which you live may require the Administrator and/or Sponsor to delete your personal data upon written request, which Administrator will be bound to honor. However, you will be disqualified if personal data is withdrawn or deleted prior to the determination of the Prize winner(s) and fulfillment of the Prize(s). This is not a penalty – it is recognition that in complying with any such request Administrator and Sponsor’s ability to administer the Sweepstakes is removed as to a person withdrawing their permission for Released Parties to use their personal data or asking that their personal data be deleted prior to the determination of the Prize winner(s) and fulfillment of the Prize(s). Information submitted by you is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy, which can be found at www.marriott.com/privacy. Sponsor and the Administrator will process your personal information solely for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes and your Marriott Bonvoy Membership.
